Heuristica is pleased to congratulate Benjamin Szalay-Anderson as the winner of the University of Calgary Faculty of Law Heuristica Discovery Award. This $2,000 award is presented annually to an undergraduate law student who authors the best research paper in the School’s Law 693 undergraduate E-Litigation course. Ben’s winning paper, “Virtual Reality: Encouraging the Practical Evolution of Electronic Service in Alberta,” explores the electronic service of commencement documents in Alberta.

Crystal O’Donnell, the firm’s founder and CEO, is co-instructing the course and Martin Felsky, Senior Counsel, will contribute as a guest lecturer.
