Hosted by the Vancouver office of Miller Thomson LLP, Crystal O’Donnell, Heuristica’s Founder and CEO, will present a lunch session on new technologies in eDiscovery.
Technological changes can have a substantial impact on business models and client expectations. Crystal will examine how technology can fundamentally disrupt traditional review and business models and, in turn, also provide opportunities for law firms and corporate legal departments.
Crystal will lead an interactive presentation and then discuss with the group:
- How to reduce the cost of ediscovery and provide clients with a better work product
- How new review and business models can create increasingly marketable skill sets and practice areas for paralegals
ILTA is an international volunteer-led, staff-managed association with a focus on premiership. It aims to educate its members and connect them with peers to support their work in the legal sector. While the association has a strong focus on technology, its offerings support professionals of every stripe in law firms and corporate/government legal operations.
