Karthik Das is a partner at Heuristica Discovery Counsel (HDC) LLP. He has over 20 years of experience supporting and leading eDiscovery in civil litigation, class actions, regulatory enforcement, quasi-criminal prosecutions and freedom of information requests. Prior to joining HDC, Karthik was Senior Legal Counsel for the Digital Enforcement & Analytics (DE&A) Unit of the Ontario Securities Commission and Crown Counsel for the Crown Law Office – Civil at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where in addition to eDiscovery, he also provided leadership and support to full service, end-to-end, deployment of computer and mobile device forensics, crypto intelligence analysis, advanced legal analytics, evidence management and open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering.
Karthik is a strong proponent of Legal Data Intelligence (LDI) as a next gen paradigm shifting approach to the manner in which evidence management services are delivered to large corporations and government entities, by empowering them through Heuristica to leverage organic and holistic control of enterprise data for continuous operational readiness in litigation.
