Karthik Das is a Counsel at Heuristica Discovery Counsel (HDC) LLP. He has over 20 years of experience supporting and leading eDiscovery in civil litigation, class actions, regulatory enforcement, quasi-criminal prosecutions and freedom of information (FOI) requests. Prior to joining HDC in 2024, Karthik was Senior Legal Counsel for the Digital Enforcement & Analytics (DE&A) Unit of the Ontario Securities Commission and Counsel for the Crown Law Office – Civil at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where in addition to eDiscovery, he also led and supported delivery of computer and mobile device forensic services, advanced legal analytics, evidence management, crypto intelligence analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) operations.
Karthik carries a keen interest in identifying new and emerging global markets for development and deployment of niche digital solutions in alternative dispute resolution, cyber breach response and data subject access requests (DSARs).
