Heuristica is pleased to again sponsor and attend the Advocates Society’s Fall Convention, taking place at the Waldorf Astoria in Punta Cacique, Costa Rica from November 12th to 16th.

The focus of this year’s event is “Doing Things Differently: Reimagining How We Lawyer”, and TAS has put together its usual strong program. Topical sessions include challenges/changes to lawyer self-regulation (Peter Wardle), trauma-informed lawyering (Anna Matas and John McIntyre)  lessons learned from commissions and inquiries (John Adair and Shantona Chaudhury), and a discussion of recent case law that may impact the way lawyers practice (Laura Duke, Dana Peebles, Lindsay Scott and Jason Woycheshyn).

As always, the Fall Convention is a great opportunity to reconnect with your peers and participate in an exceptional CPD program with thought-provoking sessions and panel discussions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
