Heuristica is pleased to congratulate Benjamin Szalay-Anderson as the winner of the University of Calgary Faculty of Law Heuristica Discovery Award. This $2,000 award is presented annually to an undergraduate law student who authors the best research paper in the School’s Law 693 undergraduate E-Litigation course. Ben’s winning paper, “Virtual Reality: Encouraging the Practical Evolution of Electronic Service in Alberta,” explores the electronic service of commencement documents in Alberta.
Heuristica also congratulates the School, Dean Ian Holloway and Professor Gideon Christian for their initiative in establishing this important course — a first for a Canadian law school.
