Wendy Cole is a lawyer and long-time legal technology enthusiast. Very early on in her civil litigation career, Wendy found herself gravitating towards finding ways to leverage technology to improve legal practice generally, and the civil discovery process in particular.
Wendy spent a number of years in the legal technology industry where she gained experience in project and program management while managing and developing a diverse portfolio of legal technology products from ediscovery and case management software to redesigning a leading legal research platform.
At the forefront of all of Wendy’s endeavours is a fascination with artificial intelligence and machine learning and the ways in which it can be leveraged to make legal tasks and processes more efficient, accurate and economical.
Wendy brings to Heuristica a passion for legal innovation, project management skills and experience in managing large scale legal document review projects.
Wendy was one of the original members of Sedona Canada – Working Group 7 and is currently a member of the Toronto Chapter of Women in eDiscovery.
